Abstract: The raise of management error-proofing is a major change in management philosophy. Error-proofing in quality management system is essential to ensure the smooth conduct of quality management activities. It helps to reduce the potential risk of enterprise quality management, coordinate relationship between quality management activities and enterprise’s daily operations and improve robustness of quality management. Starting from the generation mechanism of management errors, the paper reveals the connotation of the quality error-proofing and its key elements. Based on the view of system and integration, the paper builds a conceptual framework for error-proofing in quality management system, try to resolve the error-proofing in the process of quality management, and discuss the operation mechanism of error-proofing for quality management system.
