Abstract: In order to explore the synergistic effect and kinetics of co-pyrolysis of floatation tailings and pine. By means of thermogravimetric analyzer(TGA), the characteristics of co-pyrolysis of floatation tailings and different proportions of pine were studied , and the N (N = 1, 2, 3) level kinetics model were analyzed and calculated for co-pyrolysis of floatation tailings and different proportions of pine. The results suggested that the pyrolysis rule of pine was different from floatation tailings, and the maximum weight loss rate of pine was higher than floatation tailings. When the final pyrolysis temperature at 900℃, the weight loss of pine and floatation tailings was 74.33% and 13.25%, respectively. The temperature range of the main pyrolysis stage of the two main parts of each other was overlap, but the possibility of the occurrence of mutual synergy was big. When the proportion of pine in 20% ~ 80%, the kinetics equation of pine and floatation tailings co-pyrolysis with a good fitting. The activation energy of pine and floatation tailings co-pyrolysis was lower than the pyrolysis of floatation tailings and pine alone. This is good for the co-pyrolysis reaction, which leads to more release of volatile matter.
