The study of gondola car’s loading sequence with loadout systems

Abstract: According to discuss the adaptability of C100 (30 ton axle load) loaded with train loadout systems when loading coal, the discrete element method software was used to simulate the existing C80 gondola car’s loading process(25 ton axle load). The result was compared with the measurement data at industrial field weighing instrument, the relationships between the material flow of morphology and weight inside of weight bin, chute and gondola car with time was analysised. The comparison results show that the simulation results are consistent with the trend of the actual loading process, this simulation method has high simulation precision. The results of the study has laid the foundation for the research of 30 ton axle gondola car’s loading process, also provided the basis for the improvement of the loading sequence.
