Application of directional deep-hole water exploration and release technology in Pingmei No. 5 Mine#br# #br#

Abstract:

In order to address the threat posed by water accumulation in the upper goaf of the Pingmei No. 5 Mine to the lower coal mining, an analysis of the spatial position and volume of water accumulation in the current goaf was conducted. Three drainage schemes were compared from the aspects of economy, rationality, and time efficiency. The advantages of directional deep-hole exploration and water release technology over conventional drilling exploration and water release technology were analyzed, and directional deep-hole exploration and water release technology was ultimately determined to be the optimal solution. Based on this, the construction process of this technology was introduced, and the scheme was designed and implemented in the field. Three drilling schemes were completed on-site: Scheme one: angle 11°, hole depth 280 m; Scheme two: drilling angle 9°, hole depth 280 m; Scheme three: drilling angle 6°, hole depth 271 m. Meanwhile, the use of Grouting Technology shortened the plugging time by 88% compared to traditional cement slurry plugging technology, and approximately 30,000 m3 of water was discharged from the goaf, solving the water hazard problem in the Ji15-32020 goaf. This achieved economically efficient prevention and control of mine water hazards and ensured the safe advancement of the roadway. It provides certain reference significance for the construction of directional deep-hole exploration and water release projects in mines under similar conditions.
