Influence of surface screening plant on the stability of west end slope in Hongshaquan Open-pit Mine#br#

Abstract:

In order to study the influence of surface structure screening plant on the stability of the west end slope, the mining area of Hongshaquan open-pit coal Mine was taken as the research object. Based on the limit equilibrium theory, numerical simulation and other means, the Bioshop slope stability calculation method was adopted to compare the application of surface load or no surface load respectively. The local stability law of the influence of the surface screening plant on the upper and lower part of the west end slope and the influence on the whole stability of the west end slope are explored. The results show that when the surface load of the upper part slope increases, the slope is less affected, so more attention should be paid to the influence of surface load on the stability of the lower part slope and the whole slope. Under the condition that the total weight of equipment, coal storage and equipment transportation of the surface building screening plant does not exceed 500tons and is located 55m away from the top of the slope, the stability of the overall slope is not affected by the surface load, but the stability of the lower part of the slope is slightly reduced. Based on the numerical simulation calculation, it is recommended that the total weight of the surface screening plant should not exceed 200 thousand tons.
