Optimization design of the continuous mining and continuous backfilling with gangue solid backfill-grouting process in Shaliang Coal Mine #br#

Abstract:

The continuous mining and continuous filling process allows for parallel mining and filling operations, with flexible working face design, and has significant advantages in recovering irregular block coal resources. In order to recover irregular coal resources and dispose of gangue solid waste, Shaliang Coal Mine adopted the continuous mining and continuous gangue solid filling-grouting process. After comparing the two processes of full mining and full filling, and, partial mining and partial filling, the partial mining and partial filling process was selected. The length of the working face was controlled within 100 meters, and the width of the branch roadway was designed to be 6 meters, with a mining-filling width of 4.5 meters and a 1.5-meter coal pillar reserved. Grouting pipelines were hung on the roof of the branch roadway, and grouting was carried out after the solid gangue filling was completed to improve the overall strength and stability of the gangue backfill. The filling system and the process flow of solid gangue filling-grouting were designed, and the coal mining and filling equipment were optimized. Tests on the fluidity and strength of grouting materials were carried out, and the composition ratio and reasonable concentration of grouting materials were determined. Considering the compression characteristics of the gangue cementitious body after grouting, continuously graded gangue was selected for filling. This process achieved safe and efficient recovery of irregular coal blocks and comprehensive utilization of gangue.
