Abstract: In this paper, OHSMS and evaluation of modern safety management performance in coal mine are combined to establish an evaluation index system of modern safety management performance in coal mine, and the weight of every evaluation index is determined, so that the performance rank can be divided; Moreover, with the theory and methods of BP neural network, using the software-matlab6.0 as a platform, the level of modern safety management performance in coal mine is evaluated and forecasted. Therefore, the evaluation mechanism of safety management in coal mine will become more perfect and the level of modern safety management in coal mine will be improved fundamentally.
