Abstract: In this paper，the structure and working principle of belt filter press are sketched，and the application of this equipment in Lutian Coal Preparation Plant is introduced. What's more，it is compared with quick-operating pressure filter in technology and effect. Practice shows that the belt filter press has the advantages of small occupied area、simple operation、high handling capacity and energy saving，is a beneficial practice for coal preparation plant in coal slime recovery and slurry water closed circulation. Compared with the quick-operating pressure filter, the belt filter press shows up greater adaptability and better superiority in coal slime treatment.
