Abstract: Slurry water-hammer is a kind of unstable flow in the process of the pipeline，which will generate larger additional pressure, and has greatly effect of damage to the pipeline. The simulation by FLUENT software can dynamically and intuitively to express the slurry-water hammer pressure and the speed change process；Theoretical calculation has limitations, and can only make a static expression. According to the comparison of the two, the pressure wave velocity can better meet the situation, the pressure field has some gap to a certain extent. Studying on the slurry water-hammer has greatly significance to the pipeline transportation, and has strong reference value to put forward to alleviate the pulp strike and destruction in the future.
