Simulation Analysis for Monorail Braking Hydraulic System Based on AMESim

Abstract: A set of hydraulic-brake system is designed for monorail braking,establishing the brake mechanism of three-dimensional model and the principle is introduced.The full hydraulic braking system is analyzed in the monorail,using the hydraulic mechanical system modeling and simulation software AMESim to built up the whole hydraulic braking circuit, set the main parameters of the model elements and simulate the response time and force of the strokeravel braking and emergency braking of the mechanism. The results show that when starting the full hydraulic system, the stroke braking force increases approximately linearly; When the locomotive is in emergency braking, the response time is 0.65 second, the stroke cylinder output force is 14310 Newton and the emergency braking cylinder output force reaches 36510 Newton.The braking performance meets the requirement.
