Abstract:

To solve the problem of large bearing stress of the roadway, serious deformation of two gangs and roof in the retreating stage, roof cutting is proposed.Taking 2-203 as the research object, key parameters of the cutting hole are studied combined with theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and field tests. The results show that when the elevation angle and depth of the cutting hole are 75°and 9 m respectively, the stress peak of the coal pillar is smallest, the pressure relief effect is obvious, and the stability of the roadway is better. Through field tests, the deformation on the left side of the coal pillar decreased by 60 mm, a decrease of 14.46%, and the right side decreased by 33.71%.Compared with the deformation of adjacent roadway, roof cutting has a better pressure relief effect on the system roadway.
