Evaluation of shaft safety under mining influence

Abstract:

Aimed at the problems of shafts safety of Shengfu coal mine which influenced by the mining of surrounding coal mine,the research methods that combined theoretical analysis,field measurements and empirical analogy were used. Firstly,the protect coal pillars ranges of shafts were delimited. Then the movement and deformation at different positions of the shafts for three schemes (the working face mined normally,the coal pillar also mined,and the shaft overburden area not mined) were predicted.Finally,the classification of the mining damage grade,damage classification and structural treatment method of the shaft were proposed,the safety and stability of the shaft affected by mining was evaluated. The results showed that the main and auxiliary inclined shafts were not affected by the mining and the wind shaft was damaged at level I (slight) in the range of [0,50m] from the ground when the three coal 01 working face was normally mined,thus there had little impact on the safety of the shafts. But when the coal pillar was also mined and in the most unfavorable case,the main inclined shaft would be damaged at level II (general),level I (slight) in the range of [0,70m] and (70,250m) from the wellhead respectively,and the wind shaft would be damaged at level III (heavy),level II (general) and level I (slight) in the range of [0,33m],(33,58m) and (58,90m] respectively,thus the highest level III damage to the air shaft,which would affect the normal use of the wind shaft.
