Abstract: Zhaogu No．1 Coal Mine 11171 working face is fully mechanized face with thin base rock broken roof in complicated conditions，there is a fault near the cutting hole. Knife-handle style face was designed to to reduce the impact of the fault， and docking technology was used to carry on continuous safety production and improve production efficiency when the face was without fault impact．In the process of docking face， the equipment selection of the face were determined before and after docking，reasonably determine the hydraulic supports and scraper conveyor docking technology, the smooth realization of face connection for mechanized mining face similar conditions to provide a reference value.
