Abstract: Based on the principle of laser ranging, a kind of sensor to supervise roadway roof to floor convergence has been put forward according to the requirements of mine pressure analysis and the shortcomings of the current roof to floor convergence sensor. Use the battery for power supply, this sensor overcomes the disadvantage of high power consumption and Implement a large number of sensors distributed arrangement in coal mines. Experiments and field application shows high measuring accuracy, high transmission speed, strong adaptability to the environment are advantages of this new sensor. Also, this sensor can accurately and timely to reflect changes of roadway roof to floor convergence and provide a reliable data basefor dynamic monitoring and analysis.
