Abstract: Resource utilization is an important issue during the transition of resource-based towns, while suitable utilization of resources is regarded as the key for sustainable urban development. From the resource perspective of optimized integration and rational exploitation, this paper focus on the resource transition mode of Yexi. The types of utilizable resource is determined based on the resource potentiality evaluation. By utilizing the coupling and transforming relations among the resource subsystems, the system of collaborative development of resources is established. The results presented in this paper can be referred by further researches on the transition mode of resource-based towns.
