Efficiency analysis of shearer with height-adjusting hydraulics system based on load sensitive

Abstract: Abstract: The essential problem of the low power consumption in shearer study is the efficiency of height-adjusting hydraulics system. In this paper, a method of variable displacement pump with height-adjusting hydraulics system of shearer has been proposed. Based on the theoretically analyze its operation principles and efficiency, by using simulation tool Simhydraulics in Matlab, it builds up a model of load sensitive variable displacement pump with height-adjusting hydraulics system. The results of simulation show that the efficiency of load sensitive variable displacement pump with height-adjusting hydraulics system is far outclass that of fixed displacement pump on the premise that shear dynamic performance is constant, through the comparison of the efficiency of load sensitive variable displacement with height-adjusting hydraulics system and that of conventional technological fixed displacement pump.
