Experimental Study on Influence of the Spray Condition to Dust Removal of Gas-liquid Two-phase Flow Nozzle

Abstract: Nozzle atomization characteristics and the design of dust removal device directly affects the tunnels atomization effect of the dust, A two-phase flow nozzle is designed and manufactured, and a complete set of dust removal device experimental platform. Carried out under different spray condition parameters of atomization characteristic experiment and the characteristics of the different nozzle spray dust effect experiment. Studies have shown the particle diameter decreases with the increase of gas pressure, increase with the water pressure, and the nozzle has good atomization performance in a certain range of gas-liquid ration. Along the transverse direction is almost the same in the flow field, is gradually increasing along the axial direction. And the experiment found that the dust removal efficiency decreased with the increase of the particle size of the fog drop, and the removal of the respirable dust had a good effect when the particle size was less than 10 microns. The results provide theoretical basis and key technical support for the use of two-phase nozzle and the better application of mining dust removal device.
