Research on control strategy based on Gate Control Waterproof Hammer System

Abstract: Zhujiadian coal mine drainage system has serious water hammer phenomenon when the gate valve is closed. In this paper, a feedback gate-control waterproof hammer system based on the shock pressure, the vibration of pipeline and the signal of velocity is designed. By controlling the speed of the shutoff valve to reduce the water hammer, and through a large number of experiments to select the best shutoff valve speed. Compared with the impact pressure of pipeline when no control method is adopted or different control strategies in the same time of closing valve is adopted. The experimental results show that the method can effectively protect water hammer and produce less impact pressure than other methods.
