Application of constant resistance anchor cable support of gob-side entry retaining formed by roof cutting and pressure release in hard thick roof

Abstract: In response to the domestic problems concerning the low recovery rate of coal resources and the traditional long-arm mining method, the technology of roof cutting pressure-relief and automatic roadway with no pillar is proposed. This technology can not only increase the recovery rate of coal resources and reduce the amount of roadway excavation, but also realize the safe and efficient mining without pillars. In this paper, under the guidance of the technology theory of roof cutting pressure-relief and automatic roadway without coal pillar mining, taking the 8304 working face of Tashan coal mine as the engineering background, before the pre-splitting blasting of the roadway roof, the constant resistance large deformation anchor cable was used to reinforce the original support of the retaining roadway roof in order to control the roof deformation and ensure the success of the retaining roadway. The design adopts length of constant resistance large deformation anchor cable is 9.3m and the support density is 0.8 per square meter. The design has been applied to the field to achieve a good lane effect, indicating that the constant resistance anchor cable has an important supporting effect on the roadway roof. At the same time, it can also provide certain reference for the application of the technology in roof cutting pressure-relief and automatic roadway with no pillar and roof support under similar conditions.
