Design and application of trackless rubber tyred vehicle for material reloading and transportation in Dongjiang coal mine

Abstract: In order to improve the material transportation efficiency of Dongjiang coal industry in Shanxi Province and reduce the potential safety hazard,it is determined that the container with materials is fixed on the rail flat car,is hauled and transported to the loading chamber by the mine hoist, the container is lifted by crane and placed and fixed in the cargo compartment of trackless rubber tyred vehicle,the materials are transported to the designated place by trackless rubber tyred vehicle in the drift. About 80t of materials are required per day in coal mine,proposed the load of the trackless rubber tyred vehicle is 5t,the maximum speed of full load operation is 40km/h,two vehicles are equipped for continuous transportation. The trackless rubber tyred vehicles are required to meet and avoid passing in the auxiliary transportation, the width of the whole vehicle shall not be greater than 1980mm,the maximum dump height cannot be greater than 3200mm, therefore the whole vehicle is designed to be articulated, the front car body is designed with power transmission system and driving control device, design and layout of working device for rear car body. The design of vehicle power transmission system、frame and suspension design、steering system design、dump truck and container design and other technical points is described;the maximum traction force for full load test of the whole vehicle is 90kN on a horizontal dry road,the maximum speed is 35km/h;lengthen the wheelbase by 600mm,the maximum speed of all wheel drive and front wheel drive is 32km/h. Practice has shown that two 5t rubber-tired trucks transport an average of 16 times a day, it takes about one hour for a single vehicle to change the load, unload and arrive and depart, have been used for 12 months with stable performance.
