Rectification technology for quality defects in the construction of large-span, heavily loaded steel trusses

Abstract: [Abstract] The large-span steel truss of a project has serious quality defects such as vertical deformation and displacement of large-span steel truss and horizontal deformation and displacement of steel frame support columns due to the construction process and construction management errors during the construction process, which directly affects the equipment installation and safe use. The paper introduces the reverse loading of large-span steel trusses by post-tensioning folded prestressing high-strength steel cables with the symmetrical setting of steel wire cables on both sides, and at the same time, assisting a large crane to apply vertical upward tension in the middle of large-span steel trusses so that the vertical deformation of the trusses and horizontal deformation of the support columns can be returned to the deviation correction technology. This deskewing technique not only successfully eliminates the structural quality defects, but also has high deskewing efficiency, low cost, and does not change the overall safety of the original design of the joist and the supporting frame columns, realizing the effect of safe and efficient deskewing technology, which is of high value of application and popularization.
