As the coal resources in the shallow is dried up gradually，exploitation coal resource and gas resource in deepen becom the inevitable trend.In order to forecast the gas content in deep coal seam. Taking the samples of 13-1 Coal Seam In Xinji No.1 Mine as research object, based on the test of equilibrium water absorption in Coal Seam 13-1,Combined with the result of coal reservoir pressure and coal gas saturation, arrive at the conclusion about the coal seam gas content in the deep, The Analysis Show That prediction result is quite in accordance with the measured data. This provides guidance for prediction about the gas content in the deep coal seam.
