Abstract: New Pattern Urbanization has become a social hot issues, follow a new urbanization path is the necessary way to the social development of our country. There are significant differences in the development level of resource-based city in different area of our country at present, the development of new urbanization process in our country can be promoted effectively only by optimizing the urban space. This paper mainly studies the development of resource-based cities and inplants the innovative concept of coordinated development between center city and subcenter city in resource-based cities, so as to build collaborative development of a new type of resource-based cities. Then analyzes how to achieve regional innovation development through an example of Handan, which is one of the center cities in Hebei province, with Wu’an and Feixiang.
