Abstract: Based on the geological conditions of F16-3 fault in the 16061 bottom lane of Jiulishan mine, the rock stratum in the fault area was extremely broken and the fissure was relatively developed, and there was a great water inrush risk in the course of excavation. Combined with the situation of the mine, the location and occurrence of the fault were determined by arranging the detecting boreholes, and used separate holes and alternate grouting methods to control the fault. The tunnel was constructed by "short injection, short excavation, first injection and excavation". The results showed that: the water inflow from the borehole was reduced to 0.003~0.30m3/min after grouting, thus effectively reducing the water inflow in the roadway. The water pressure of aquifer decreased from 3.5MPa to 0.6~1.3MPa, which greatly improved the hydrogeological conditions of the area. With the construction method of "10m injection 5m", no water inrush accident occured in the roadway, and the roadway has better stability.
