Abstract: The hoist braking system is a key part of mine hoist and an important barrier to ensure the safe operation of hoists. In order to determine the vibration characteristics of the braking system and avoid the resonance phenomenon in the using process, this paper takes the TP1-150 type mine hoisting mechanism system as the research object, establishes the 3D model of the brake system through the Solid Works, and the finite element model by using ANSYS Workbench. The first ten natural frequencies and the main vibration modes are obtained from the modal analysis. In addition, to ensure that the hoist braking system configuration can withstand various sinusoidal loads at different frequencies, the amplitude frequency curve is obtained by the harmonic response analysis, which shows that the dangerous frequency ranges of the brake system and the maximum vibration amplitude of the system when the system resonance occurs.
