Determination of the Reasonable Coal Pillar Width for Fully Mechanized Top Caving Face when Drifting Along Goaf

Based on the rock strata control theory, in order to determinate the reasonable coal pillar width when drifting along goaf,the key parameter of rock strata broken structure has been mastered and the reasonable coal pillar width was deeply studied by using methods of theoretical analysis. The results indicated that when the coal seam height is 12m and the mining height is 3.5m,the reasonable coal pillar width is 8.05~9.45m for fully mechanized top caving face. Based on this, the computer numerical simulation have been studied for the different coal pillar width:8.05m、8.5m、9m、9.45m. The study results showed that: when the coal pillar width is 9.45m,the elastic area would appear in the middle of the coal pillar and the effect of load performance is better than the other width.So the reasonable coal pillar width is 9.45m.This conclusion had lay the foundation for the determination of reasonable coal pillar width at 8 coal seam top caving face.

The gas outburst disasters are serious in Si jia-zhuang coal mine, and the casualty accidents caused by outburst occur frequently. So outburst prevention work task is gravely. The mining condition is coal seam group, but there are no conditions of protective seams extraction. In order to achieve the aim of no digging and mining in outburst dangerous area, a method of regional gas pre-drainage by downward crossing hole was adopted in SI Jia-zhuang coal mine. To achieve better effect, the optimization process parameters need be studied on-site. In this paper, the reasonable spacing of downward crossing hole for pre-drainage was studied. The results indicated that the residue gas content was decreased to 7.86m3/t after period 20 days per-drainage with 2.0m spacing in end hole, and up to the standards of outburst danger eliminating

In order to mine the coal under the old town, super high-water material filling-mining technique was brought in by Chengjiao mine to do mining test in the coal face of C2401.According to the working conditions under the shaft, a reasonable filling system was designed, whose production capacity can reach 280m3/h. After many experiments of filling, the results show that: The filling system has simple operation method and high production capacity; Feeding, preparing and piping system can cooperate with each other normally; the slurry of superhigh-water material has good liquidity, is suitable for long distance pipeline transportation, and can be washed away easily after filling; filling-mining technique is a new type of advanced filling method, whose equipment has low initial investment and high degree of mechanization.

This paper presents a kind of efficient coal-mine locomotive dispatching communication system. Analyze and discuss the existing locomotive dispatching means, including its merits and demerits. In addition, performance comparasions of common wireless communication systems are presented. Whereas WIFI has the advantage of wide coverage, high transmission speed and good expansibility, propose the coal-mine locomotive dispatching communication system based on WIFI. The system has real-time voice communication function and can feedback the status of locommtives and turnouts, which meets the demands of the locommtive dispatching. The system has already run in good condition underground and meets the requirements, promoting the dispatching efficiency.

By using the SAP2000 of nonlinear finite element analysis software, we study on this influence which is the seismic behavior of multiple story light steel structure in different types of brace. Based on constructing the un-braced frames light-steel structure of six layers, concentrica1ly braced, eccentric braced and knee braced were arranged in the structure. Calculated the structure of lateral stiffness and natural vibration period which under the effect of M.8 earthquake. Four species structure system in comparative analysis by using two bands of classical seismic waves, compared the dynamic characteristics and seismic behavior in four species structure of steel frame.

Application study of medium-length hole blast is proceeded at the western belt tunneling in order to ensure first mining area and second mining area continuing regularly. According to the section configuration, supporting mode, rock character and performance mode of the western belt tunneling, blasting technique of quasi-burn cut is extracted based on analyzing the merits and faults and the cut mechanics of existing cut mode, and the charge table and the blasting parameter is appropriately designed; the technique of inverse initiation and full-face blast is used. The blasting effect is satisfied. The mining footage of per shift increases 2.2-2.3m and the monthly footage increases 120m because of the use of medium-length hole blast at the western belt tunneling. Tt is the maximum footage of the western belt tunneling.

The support question of headentry of 66111 coalface in Xinzhuangzi Colliery of Huainan Mining-Group is a typical question about roadway stabilityl kicking goaf with large dip and composite roof. The article simulated different support methods with FLAC5.0,and reached a conclusion that the support method under similar condition needed a positive and initiative bolting support system,then take reinforcement measures to achieve high strength and integrity.The combined support method using anchor and U-shelf can effectively control the deformation of surrounding rock, with reference to similar condition roadway controlling.

Abstract:Based on the water inflow observation data and the stratum data of Hongling coal mine, the water inflow was calculated by the analytic method and analogue method of hydrogeology, obtained results of the maximum annual water inflow in Hongling mine were 447 m3/h and 422.9 m3/h. After analysis, the water inflow results 422.9 m3/h was more accurate, by the analogy method to calculate, which can be used the basis of water damage prevention and safety production in Hongling mine.

Abstract: The 81006 working face of Caozhuang coal mine was mined with the gravity Paste-like filling technique, gravity paste-like filling technique system was introduced, and the effect of the filling working face was evaluated. The results indicate that the amount of compression of top and bottom roof of advanced roadway was 174mm, 108mm averaged, mining with filling could effectively control the strength of ground pressure. Filling body’s max amount of compression was 104mm, rate of 5.2%, top tight filling had a good effect. The stress inside the filling body increased gradually, the max stress is 13.02Mpa, almost equaled to the original stress which was 15.02Mpa. It took almost 20 days for the stress inside of filling body achieving the original stress from the beginning of filling, the rate of filling density was good, the filling body could support the whole gravity of overburden strata. The earth’s surface barely sunk and got efficiently protected after filling.

Abstract: Based on the impact of mini-type coal mine destructive area on safe mining in many mining area, Adopting Ruimi filling material to grout and fill mini-type coal mine destructive area is proposed combined with the specific conditions of fully mechanized caving face passed through mine gob area in extremely thick coal seam at Underground Mine II. In this way, the slurry which has a liquidity automatically affluxes into loose coal pile and caving gangue. The filling concretion body can cement with coal pile and gangue effectively and have a certain degree of integrity. Through establishing mechanical model, we get the lower limit depth of the filled regenerated roof by using theoretical analysis and calculation. The feasibility of the result proved in industrial tests. As a result, the technology of grouting for backfilling re-mining is an advanced method in mining mini-type coal mine destructive area which can maximize mining coal resources left in mini-type coal mine destructive area and is also a result which conforms to the direction of green mining.

North Bao-De Plant combines DMI screen-bowl centrifuge with Andritz plate-and-frame filter press to de-watering fine coal. The article analyzes the performance of DMI screen-bowl sedimentation based on the date of density of the feed to the thickener, the underflow of thickener and the filtrate of DMI screen-bowl centrifuge, which indicates that when the feed concentration is 354.6g/l, the filtrate concentration is 69.8g/l, the recovery of coal is 85.83%, and especially the recovery of -0.045mm fine coal is 82.79%. In the production process, product of DMI loosening, no reunion, low moisture, has an excellent performance. The article concludes the shortcoming of this equipment in use also, put forward three solutions to solve, to improve the slime-water treatment system.

This paper introduces the basic principle about mine transient electromagnetic detection technology, and shows the difference about the apparent resistivity calculation formula between the mine and ground based on the structure of the transient field. It decorates 11 measuring points, thus can detect the geological anomalies in front of roadway head-on by adjusting the angle between the normal direction of the antenna and left, ahead, right of roadway head-on. The variation of electric properties of medium in the direction of roof and floor about the work face was detected by adjusting the angle between the normal direction of the antenna and roof, floor of coal seam face. Isolines of apparent resistivity are drawn after the collected data is processed. According to the geological material, we can accurately determine the position and how much water of the geological anomalies. The detection results show that the effect of the method in mine coal hydrological detection is perfect, so it can be considered a quick, effective exploration method to solve the mine coal hydrological geological problems.

The exploitation of 10th coal seam in Wugou mine is restricted by the aquifers above it, especially the fourth aquifer. To determine the rational upper extraction limit below the fourth aquifer in Wugou Mine and extract the coal trapped by the fourth aquifer as much as possible and safely. This paper takes the 1011 face as an example, the rational upper extraction limit below the fourth aquifer in Wugou Mine is analyzed through theoretical calculation and numerical simulation using the RFPA software. The results show that the height of water-flowing fractured zone above the 1011 face is 52.84m and the rational upper extraction limit can be determined as -300m. The results can also provide references for determining the rational upper extraction limit of the other working faces with the similar geological conditions.

Based on analyzing mechanical properties of coal containing gas and their failure types, we draw a conclusion that coupling effect between the Ⅱ failure type of the coal containing gas and highspeed gas seepage leads to the occurrence of gas outburst, which provided theoretical basis for the stress distribution characteristics of coal before heading face and preventing the occurrence of sudden gas outburst. The relationship between the safety width of the destressed zone and the gas ourburst danger as for a colliery are discussed, and the safety width equation of destressed zone in the wall of coal tunnel is derived and verified by a colliery. The results is significant to the prediction of gas outburst in the coal tunnel, the reasonable support for the tunnel.

In order to study disturbed effects by excavation of neighboring roadways, numerical simulation and on-site dynamic monitoring analysis of roadway group in Zhuji Coal Mine are carried out. The results show that surrounding rock mass stress, deformation, anchor cables tensile force and area of plastic zone of railway laneway increase as a result of the disturbed effects by excavation of adjacent tunnels. On-site monitoring data show that disturbed effects have spatiotemporal characteristics, railway laneway suffers large deformation, and surrounding rockmass has rheological property. Conclusions obtained will devote to the following studies.

In order to study the feature of gas explosion flame fronts in the coal mine gas explosion accident, experiments of gas explosion flame propagation were done in a small pipeline in laboratory simulation of tunnel. The temperature, ion current, overpressure and photoelectric signal of flame front at the same cross-section in tube were recorded by subtle thermocouple, ion probe, pressure transducer and photoelectrical transducer at the same time. The results show that the signals of photoelectric, temperature and ion current recorded run faster a little than the overpressure signal; The value of the highest temperature, the peak ion current and the maximum overpressure of flame front were1238.8℃, 2.28atm and 258nA with the same gas concentration of 10.17% .The flame thickness that figured out by temperature signal was 44.8cm and that by ion current signal was 68.5cm.And there are belong to the same order of magnitude. The experimental results are good for the further understanding of gas explosion flame in gas explosion accidents and to provide some reference for mine explosion-proof equipment and warning design.

Abstract: Pure coal oxidation process at low-temperature(<100℃) was studied by FTIR. In this paper, evolution of peaks area in different FTIR spectra of coal functional groups was analyzed. The result indicates that with oxidation time rising, peaks area of hydroxyl (-OH) first decreases and then increases, ether oxy (Ar-O-Ar’、R-O-R’) were increasing, carboxy (-COOH) appeared; aromatic hydrocarbon (-CH) and aliphatic hydrocarbon (-CH2) decreased and aromatic framework C=C were not reaction during the oxidized process, further speculate the reaction pathways in the low-temperature oxidation process. Hydrophilicity index on the surface of the coal was calculated according to the surface hydrophilic and hydrophobic groups, the result shows that hydrophilicity index consistent with variation of coal contact angle.

With the increasingly large mine ventilation system, and more complex ventilation network topology, it is very difficult to analysis ,optimize and forecast the mine ventilation system.To achieve the simplification of complex ventilation network, three ways are proposed.They are the equivalent Simplifying of complex ventilation networks , the fuzzy Simplifying of complex ventilation networks and the compounded Simplifying of complex ventilation networks.The equivalent simplified the process to be follwed in the principles and the Equivalent transformation of parameters about wind resistance and Fan performance are researched.Finally,with the Application about the ventilation network of kongzhuang Coal Mine,it shows that the pore complex Mine ventilation network simplification can reduce the node ratio was 35.9%, 38.6% decrease compared to the branch, and the error is less than 5%; if ventilation network only to its equivalent simplified to reduce the nodes 27.2%, 29.1% decrease compared to the branch, then there is no error.

Abrasive water jet cutting technology is a safe and “cold” cutting technology, which will not cause gas explosion resulting from sparks. A portable Abrasive Water Jet Cutting Machine is designed and manufactured for cutting operations in coal mines. The equipment is divided into two main parts and connected by a high pressure hose. Workers can hold the equipment by the hand-held spray gun for cutting operation and at a cutting speed of up to 40mm/min, while the gauge pressure of system, nozzle wear and abrasive consumption can be monitored by the pressure gauge. The equipment is used to ensure the safety of cutting operation at coal mines.

Air conditioner is the key part of the life support system of mine refuge, with the function of air filtration, cooling and dehumidification. The thermodynamic analysis on heat transfer process of the CO2 open-type air conditioner was carried out firstly. Following that, two design scheme of heat transfer process using capillary tube or expander were designed and compared by means of analyzing calculation. It showed that:under the same initial environment temperature of 25℃,the heat absorption of refrigerant using capillary tube was 217.2 kJ/kg,80 percent of which was latent heat;The heat absorption of refrigerant using Multi-stage expander and single-stage expander was 283.5kJ/kg and 247.3 kJ/kg respectively, and maximum output power was 68.2 kJ/kg and 33.3 kJ/kg refrigerant respectively. Through the analysis and comparison,it is feasible to apply capillary tube or single-stage expander to the heat transfer process of mine refuge CO2 open-type air conditioner.

Aiming at the problem that the Modified Weighted Centroid Localization (MWCL) algorithm has a high localization error when it is used under the complex underground coal mine circumstances,Weighted Centroid Localization algorithm based on virtual nodes emendation is presented. The algorithm based on MWCL rectifies the range of evaluated location using Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) of anchor received by unknown nodes and utilizes the virtual nodes to implement MWCL algorithm. The simulation results show that, the improved algorithm outperforms the MWCL algorithm under the same condition.

Based on the analysis of the challenges coal corporation facing in post-economic crisis era,this paper discussed four development strategy, which contain remoulding the coal corporation, combination of industry and finance ,developing the emerging industry, and the withdraw of part industry. The further improvement proposals were provided.

With the statistical data of coal mine enterprise invest in HeNan province from 2006 to 2010 ,grey relation entropy method was put forward .After calculating the values of grey relation entropy and entropy relation grade between affecting factors,such as security technology,industrial health,safety education,labor protection products and other factors,and the returns of coal mine enterprise investment or loss of the coal mine accident,the main affecting factors of coal mining enterprise investment and loss of the coal mine accident were obtained based on the sequence of each compared mapping variable .This study result is beneficial for the raising of effective countermeasures and for the reducing of coal mine accidents.At the same time,this method has the advantage of object measure,simple algorithm,less sample consumption and objective result .
