Research and Simulation on Torsion of Mine Hoisting Steel Cable

Deep mine hoisting cable can twist seriously during cable changing process. Analyze the steel cable rotation theoretically due to its screw structure factor. Using RecurDyn software establishes dynamic models of steel cable. Simulating and analyzing the rotation angular displacement of steel cable during twisting process. The result reveals that in the depth of 1,000 meters mine, the bottom cable can twist up to 263 turns eventually result from the weight of the whole cable in mine, basically consistent with the theoretical results. Based on simulation of steel cable twisting, we have verified the feasibility of a number of flexible beam connecting sections between micro cylinders instead of steel cable.

Due to the wide use of non-linear components, harmonic problem becomes increasingly serious. Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) has been widely used in the analysis of power system harmonics. But the results will be disturbed by the spectrum leakage. Some efforts have been made including the utilization of window functions and interpolation algorithms to correct the measured frequency, phase and amplitude by FFT. In order to overcome some shortcomings of existing correction methods, This paper proposed a method combines FFT with the Multiple Modulation Zoom Analysis based on Complex Analytic Band Pass Filter (Improved ZFFT ) and then have verified the effectiveness and practicability of the algorithm.

In order to study the high level suction roadway reasonable position, according to the mining conditions and the overburden characteristics of 13-1 coal seam in Huainan mining area Liu Zhuang coal mine, by using these methods of theoretical calculation and similar simulation experiment and engineering practice, research and analysis of the high level suction roadway reasonable position and extraction effect. The results showed that 13-1 coal seam working face caving zone height is about 4 times of the mining height, fractured zone height is about 16 times of the mining height, the high level suction roadway reasonable position is about from the coal seam roof 42m. By using the similar material simulation test results to determine the high level suction roadway position is more reasonable.

In order to solve the problems existed in operation pressure monitoring of hydraulic support, such as difficulty in collecting huge data, real-time and complex structure, a set of monitoring platform based on embedded system and CAN bus was developed in this paper. The platform, with structure of microprocessor STM32 and CSN bus module and Ethernet module, and with μC/OS-II operating system implanted, could receive and the real-time pressure data quickly from hydraulic support and send to monitoring center, and showed advantages in accuracy and structure as well as cost. Also, the test result showed that the platform had meet the requirement, so it could be practically applied in coal-mine. For the spatial shape problem of west boundary slope of Chumei open pit mine in Wulantuga, the west boundary slope was optimized with the two dimensional rigid body limit equilibrium and FLAC3D numerical simulation. The results show that for the west boundary slope of Chumei open pit mine in Wulantuga, the parameters of its slope are as follows: the benches below +1082 m segments combined, the width of panel 1082 is 11 m, that of panel 1092 is 13 m and panel 1102 20 m, the distance of dump base from the upper boundary of stope is 37.5 m after the slope was cleared. The failure mode of the west boundary slope is the composition of tension-shear. Gravity, fault, weak layer and self strength characteristics are main inducing factors leading to the cutting and bedding sliding of the west boundary slope of Chumei open pit mine in Wulantuga.

Taking the raw coal silo of reinforced concrete project of a coal preparation plant as an example, this paper expounds a design method for the consolidation of a concrete silo structure after damage occurs to the silo body. Practice has proved that the result of this consolidation method is rather satisfactory, achieving the aim of securing the structure and reducing cost and construction time. Meanwhile, it also provides reference for the consolidation design of similar projects in future.

Based on production practice of 12201 working face of Ha Lagou coal mine Shendong mine area, pressure regularity and roof control measures were analyzed of gob-side entry retaining formed by roof cutting and pressure relief face. The results show that during the first mining, pressure intensity is relatively weak beside the left lane. When the pushed distance is 100 meters, the roadway is basically stable and the support can be retreated. The surrounding roadway rock of 12201 is controlled effectively by adding support strength, protecting roof anchor integrity and reinforcing glass bolt support. During the second mining, pressure intensity beside left lane is obviously larger than that of the other regions and there is serious hanging roof. The problem of hanging roof is solved and pressure intensity are weakened by taking retreating anchor and forced caving the roof. The influence range of lead pressure in left lane in not more than 25 meters and the peak position is about 10 meters. The support scheme of left lane by taking DW28-400/110 and DW25-400/110 type single support, single row spacing 0.6m, each row 6, advance support distance 30 meters is reasonable. From pressure control of the roadway and work face, the technology has been matured, but the ventilation management needs to be further summarized and verified.

The quality of gas extraction drilling hole sealing is one of the major factors affecting extraction effect. Aim to solve the problem of gas extraction sealing quality, on the basis of researching in hole sealing materials and technology, it has formed an unitized technology with new inorganic hole sealing material and sealing hole opener, further perfecting the "two sealing and one grouting" with pressure grouting hole sealing technology. Through field test applied in Baode coal mine, and in the 30 day inspection period test the drilling group average concentration reached more than 80%, the problem of hole sealing quality deficiencies in Baode coal mine is solved, and providing data reference and suggestion for the next step of choosing gas extraction from drilling hole sealing technology for Baode coal mine.

In order to control the deformation of surrounding rock of gateway in gently inclined thick coal seam, deformation and failure characteristics of gateway is studied by way of numerical simulation in the engineering background of 201 tailgate in Huagaishan Colliery. The result indicates broken zone and plastic zone of surrounding rock of gateway in gently inclined thick coal seam is large, broken zone mainly focuses on the roof, and shallow surrounding rock is damaged by shear and tensile. Furthermore, spray anchor net cable supporting technology can effectively control the deformation of gateway surrounding rock under the geological conditions. Engineering practice shows that the maximum convergence of gateway with the support of side walls and roof-floor is 102 mm and 124 mm respectively, and there is not bolt or anchor failure in the site, which can provide reference for surrounding rock control of roadway with similar conditions.

Aiming at the problem of blasting parameters of the weakening of high in-situ stress weaken hard roof in fully mechanized coal mining face, depending on the project of 3245 working face of Qidong mine, using LS-DYNA to simulate the explosive stress wave in rock mass and the time history curve of blasting vibration when the initial geostress is 20 MPa and the lateral pressure coefficient is 0.5, and studied the peak stress and velocity with the attenuation law of pitch. With the introduction of the initial stress correction coefficient of PPV safety criteria of fracture zone radius, the result shows that when the artillery hole spacing is less than 13.4 m of roof rock blasting damage effect is better, and field application of the rationality of the research conclusion is verified. It provides a reference for the design of similar engineering blasting parameters .

Currently, timber supports are widely used in retraction of supports surface, which have the problems of heavy duty, high risk, large timbers consumption and heavy resource wastes. Five special shield supports retraction method is used innovatively in panel 52306 of Da Liu Ta coal mine. Practice has proved that the method realizes mechanized roof support of terminal areas, availably reducing unsupported area; saving timber about 50% and increasing efficiency about 30% during retraction operation compared with four shield supports retraction technology; reducing labor intensity of workers and ensuring the safety of the support of large mining height fully mechanized mining face.

To solve the problems following the recovery of triangle coal on fully-mechanized caving face in later period, taking NO. 25011 coal face in ShanZai Coal Mine as the subject investigated, we made a scheme that continuous recovery of short face formed by one-off retraction of supports after original terminal line was mined, and researched on retracting technology, location of auxiliary return airway and conterminousness technology with the face. The result showed that the conterminousness between auxiliary return airway and fully-mechanized caving face could be achieved accurately by field measurements and calculation, as well as leading guide holes. Depending on this technology, retracting time decreased to 25 days, and percent recovery of triangle coal increased to 59.2%.

To further enhance the level and efficiency of mine water, promote regional economic, ecological and social sustainable development, in southern Hebei ten mining area water quality characteristics, treatment processes, operating results, as well as the direction reuse existing problems of research and analysis. The results show that three types of mine water were containing suspended solids mine water, highly-mineralized mine water and special polluted mine water in the south of Hebei. Treatment mainly reactive precipitation (clarification), filtration and disinfection treatment process, treatment rate of over 90%. At present, the water rate of mine water treatment is still relatively low (about 70%), it is necessary to establish the mechanism of mine water resources utilization, and optimize the allocation of mine water resources. Some of the mine water Processing operation cost is high, the need to optimize the coagulant, coagulant and dosage, improve the effect of coagulation and sedimentation, further reduce processing costs and gradually increase the mine water resources utilization and economic benefits.

Based on the south slope of Antaibao open-pit mine as the research object, consider the strength of rock slope is decreased, and the formation and occurrence of the rock mass are changed when the collapse column and other geological structures occur in open-pit mine end wall inside. The stability of the south slope is simulated and analyzed under the effect of collapse column with GeoStudio, and the unstable region of slope is delineated, put forward the control measures of the inner-dumping with burying slope combined with the actual situation. The results show that the control measure is more effective, and the discharge capacity of open pit mine was increased, shorten the distance of dumping, and it is important practical significance to the safety production of open pit mine.

In order to solve the problem of sealing fracture under complicated geological conditions in measuring seam gas pressure, the technology of gradually reducing sealing is proposed in the paper based on the tunnel surrounding rock stress distribution. The fracture zone and plastic enhanced areas of multistage sealing to enhance the accuracy of the pressure. According to the coal and rock elastic plastic softening model to simulate the excavation of tunnel surrounding rock plastic zone radius, simulations are carried out to validate by FLAC3D software which provides the data support for a borehole plugging depth. Field application is carried out in XueHu Coal Mine Area 29. The results show that the variable diameter sealing technology in measuring time reduced 29.4%, equivalent to about 8.3 days, in the manometric findings enhance 65.6%. The test results close to the original coal seam gas pressure, and the technology has wide application value.

Abstract:There are two main mining coal seams in part of Shennan shallow coal area, for the situation of 4-2 and 5-2 large height coal seam. It is found the caving feature and roof structure with re-mining during the physical simulation experiments, as a result, it shows that the main control stratum are key layer of direct roof, the lower effective key stratum (group) and the upper disturbanced key stratum. Furthermore, through combine the compared strata pressure result of single coal seam and coal seam group mining, summarized the feature of smaller weighting interval and larger compressive strength coal seam, it has important guiding significance to the safe and efficient mining of shallow buried coal seam.

Based on the safe mine problem in Shangwan coal mine close distance seams, researched rock pressure phenomenon of pushing through coal pillar in Shangwan mine No.12302 workface used the methods of theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and engineering practice. Research results showed that: the advanced roof structure falling caused by depth borehole forced roof caving in overlying coal seam is helpful for the coal seam workface pushing through coal pillar smoothly;result of numerical simulation showed that the descending amount of pistom is expected to 133mm, at the same time, the reasonable working face supporting intensity of support resistance is about 11 000 kN; engineering practice results indicate that rock pressure in 12302 workface only appeared slow pressure sometimes. Research results will provide reference experience when workface cross upper coal pillar safely in similar conditions of Shendong coal mines area.

The support designs of coal roadways ought to be targeted, because their use and service time are all different in Wongawilli mining area. Rules of roadway deformation was analyzed by mechanical models and numerical models. Based on the theory of rock beam, the mechanical model of roof was founded. These parameters, thickness of rock beam, width of roadway and allowable tensile stress of roof, meet with hyperbolic curve. Combined with FLAC3D, four kinds of support were analyzed. By analyzing support effect to surrounding rock and bolts, the corners and sides of roadway are determined to be key positions of roadway support. According to data of rock deformation, sides support is better than roof support only. FRP bolts can be used for sides support in branch roadway. The effect of bolts parameters to rock deformation were studied, the results show that strengthening sides support is useful to stability of roof rock, and there is a optimum value to length of side-bolts.

Based on Mingxin coal company No.2 shaft roof caving mining steep seams on the impact of working face,research on theoretical analysis,physical analogue experiment and numerical simulation for the law of overlying strata movement in horizontal section of steeply inclined coal seam.Result showed that under the condition of horizontal section caving mining,with the advance of the work,the potential energy of the roof is greatly enlarged,the ultimate cause of the fully mechanized caving face roof falling,extremely easy to produce the impact of the working surface pressure and shock wave.In the initial stage of production,using artificial blasting caving measures can reduce the roof hanging area, roof caving backward cover floating waste form the protection cushion block production of good effect,reduces the risk of falling, to improve the safety of the working face.

Abstract: Mining cause activation of faults, fault activation lead to mine water inrush accident occurred by containing the artesian aquifer water, this paper study water inrush mechanism ,using finite difference numerical simulation software FLAC3D simulation and analysis stress field and plastic zone in different fault dip. The results show that the dip angle is bigger, fault plane shearing force and stress the more; mining deep fault activation range greater than shallow fault activation range; small angle normal faults produced fracture more easily through in the face of the bottom plate. By using the software, the simulation of stress field and plastic zone near the fault in the near fault mining area will help to determine the setting width of the fault waterproof coal pillar and the prevention of the occurrence of mine water inrush accident. The timely updating of the transportation road network in open-pit mine, is a reliable guarantee for normal transportation in open-pit mine. Aiming at the constant changing of mine road network with the environment, this paper realized the automatic updating technology of mine road network by using massive trajectory data of mine truck.Through analysis and evaluation of the accuracy of the trajectory data to screen out the reliable data, and the improved DBSCAN density clustering algorithm was applied to the data to obtain the clustering points, then the clustering points was performed quasi uniform B-spline curve fitting, establishing topological relations and forming a road map of mining area. The result showed that the algorithm can adapt to the vast majority of mining area road environment

The nozzle of wet spraying machine is not only the direct component that forms the working condition of concrete jet, but also the key part to guarantee that concrete gets best kinetic energy and jet impact. The general index used for evaluating mine concrete wet spraying machine nozzle is put forward. The flow field of the SPB7-T wet spraying machine nozzle is studied by numerical simulation with Fluent software. Mixture static stress nephogram, single phase velocity contours and the volume fraction contours of nozzle exit phase are analyzed in nozzle flow field. The results show that the static pressure of mixture and velocity of each phase increase along the moving direction of concrete. There is a velocity slip between high pressure air and concrete . The air mixing uniformity is as high as 0.85 in the nozzle exit. The tests show that the resilient rate of the nozzle used for SPB7-T wet spraying machine is 9.993%, which proved the correctness of the simulation. The results provide a theoretical basis for future improvement and optimization.

In order to overcome the obstacles of cable transmission and power supply of current Cutting Response Analysis (CRA) method, a self-powered coal-rock interface recognition system based on the piezoelectric stacks was proposed. The design of the system has been illustrated. In detail, the functions of the modules including the energy harvester and energy management circuits, as well as signal processing and wireless transmission modules were demonstrated respectively. The experiments that the piezoelectric stacks were impacted by shock load was conducted on the self-developed drop hammer and the response characteristics of the piezoelectric stacks to the shock load were investigated to explore the system feasibility and actual situation when the pick cut the coal-rock interface. The experimental results demonstrate that the piezoelectric stack harvester’s output power reached 35W when the height of the drop hammer was 250mm, which could power various sensors and the ZigBee wireless module.

Abstract: In different coal types, the logging curves of compensating density and acoustic time shows the different response of characteristics due to the different physical properties such as industrial components, density and porosity. And the ratio of expanding diameter in the process of drilling is also different due to the different intensity of coal and rock. Established a logging parameter identification standard of high rank coal and adopted the grey correlation method to explain the type of coal quantitatively, through statistical analysis of a large number of coring well data, and the study found that this method is not affected by man-made factors and its accuracy is very high. The relationship between the density and industrial components is close, combining the logging multiple regression model and the equivalent volume model, calculated the result of density and porosity of coal, and also calculated the respective industrial components content of coal based on the relationship between the density and industrial components.This method is based on a lot of experimental data, which combined the theoretical model and actual statistical model, so its result is reliable and feasible in practice.

Kaiping coal-field is a typical area of synclinal control of gas development. In order to investigate the history of CBM geological evolution, this article analyzes structural characteristics and its evolution and coal quality of the coal-field, discusses the gas-bearing property, and simulates burial-generation history of the main coal seams. The results show that because of the influences of coal burial conditions and late tectonic movements, there is different history of CBM geological evolution in different structural positions of Kaiping coal-field, which can be mainly divided into three types: Tangshan mine type, Lujiatuo mine type and Donghuantuo mine type. The former two types experience twice coal generation processes, due to the influences of thrust nappe structure, there are good CBM storage conditions of Tangshan mine type, which present CBM is the richest; Donghuantuo mine type experience once coal generation process, which structural conditions are simple. The CBM is rich in the middle of NW part of Kaiping Syncline where tectonically deformed coals develop. Contrarily, the CBM loses too much in other area, which results in the lowest CBM content; Lujiatuo mine type has a greater degree of coal metamorphism influenced by magmatic intrusion in advanced Yanshanian epoch, which present CBM content is between Donghuantuo mine type and Tangshan mine type.

Abstract:In order to study on the motion law of the variable cohesive coal particles moving on the vibrating feeder under different vibrating direction angles, we employ the JKR-Cohesion model to simulate their movements based on the EDEM software. The results show that for the variable cohesive coal particles , the fluctuation range of the flux value decreases to the steady state along with the increase of the vibrating direction angle ,and the best effective vibrating direction angles for the low viscosity coal particles, medium viscosity coal particles and high viscosity coal particles are 35°~45°、40°~50° and 45°~55°,respectively.

Coal-mining subsided wetlands are special kind of wetlands caused by mining activities formed in eastern, high ground-water area of China. Coal-mining subsided wetlands affect the sustainable development of coal cities due to its vast proportion and large quantities. Nowadays, ecological restoration and utilization of coal-mining subsided wetlands have drawn great attention of the society. The papter concluded the formation mechanism, features and spatial distribution of the coal-mining subsided wetlands; analysed the type features along with the governance modes. The paper also summarized the recovery of vegetation and soil environment, landscape planning and design andconstruction technology. At last, The paper discussed the core of the wetlands’ future development by current characteristics and conditions of Chinese coal-mining subsided wetlands.

Summarized the current status of the application of the spiral separator and analyzed the problems existing in the application on the coal spiral separator; Summed up the research status of the optimization of the spiral separator, proposed the direction of the optimization for the coal spiral separator. The results show that compared to the non-coal spiral separators, the spiral with lower pitch and more turns may benefit to the separation; The coal spiral also have some problems such as higher cut densities and lower containment for the moment; Changing the structural parameters and introducing the external force were two mainly ways of equipment optimization. The former can be the primary method for the reason that it can retain the features with structure and no power components as far as possible.

For the complex terrain environment of fully mechanized working face in thin coal seam, we designed a four-rocker crawler inspection robot which can assisted maintenance workers to accomplish routine mining equipment inspection work and reduced the labor intensity of workers. The ditch performance of the inspection robot is analyzed, and the maximum width of the ditch without the rocker-arm auxiliary is 278.9mm, and the maximum width of the ditch with the rocker-arm auxiliary is 347.15mm.The ditch-crossing process were virtual simulation in ADAMS, to verify the correctness of the theoretical analysis. Finally, the ditch performance test of the walking mechanism prototype was implemented, and the results show that the design of the inspection robot can meet the requirements of thin coal seam fully mechanized working face environment.

Abstract:The paper calculates the driving brake torque and the parking brake torque for the bidirectional driving vehicle in coal mine, in view of the fact that the traditional vehicles in coal mine may cause the brake failure further under the emergency braking state, the solution of multi-function wet-type brake is put forward. The structure and principle of the multi-functional wet-type brake are analyzed in detail, and the working principle and structural characteristics of the bidirectional driving vehicle braking system are expounded. Practice shows that the design of the hydraulic braking system is reasonable and feasible.

In order to evaluate the enterprise safety culture accurately and scientifically, the geometric regular polygon evaluation method was adopted. Based on the existing data, 9 evaluation indexes of enterprise safety culture was selected, and the questionnaire method was adopted to quantify the various indexes, ultimately reflected on the geometric regular polygon. The results showed that, geometric regular polygon evaluation method was simple, and the evaluation results were stable and reliable. This method could evaluate the enterprise safety culture scientifically and objectively. As the same time, the advantages and disadvantages of each index were reflected. It also provided the basis for the improvement of the enterprise safety culture.
