Analysis on Physical Properties and Characteristics of No.15 Coal Reservoir in the Northeast of Qinshui Coal Field

摘要: 基于沁水煤田东北部煤层气开发资料,采用煤层气地质理论和数理统计方法,对研究区15号煤储层物性及特征进行了分析。结果表明,煤层的稳定可采性,为煤层气开发的提供了良好储层条件。煤的高变质及差异,使得煤岩类型及组分有所不同|煤层高含气量,为煤层气开发提供了良好气源条件。欠压煤储层,使得煤层气的压力吸附正效应、驱动煤层气产出的动能均较弱且煤层含气饱和度较低,不利于煤层气井的高产、稳产和采收率的提高|煤中孔裂隙较发育,但连通性差。过渡孔高度发育,为煤层气储集提供了有利空间。小-微型裂隙发育,但充填较严重,煤层渗透率较低|吸附时间较长,不利于煤层气井高产和缩短煤层气开发周期。

Abstract: Based on the development data of coalbed methane in northeastern Qinshui coalfield,the physical properties and characteristics of No.15 coal reservoir in the study area were analyzed using the theory of coalbed methane geology and mathematical statistics.The results show that the stable and recoverable coal seam provides good reservoir conditions for the development of coalbed methane. The high rank and difference of coal make different components of coal. The high gas content provides good gas source for the development of coal-bed methane. The negative pressure of coal reservoir, getting the coalbed methane positive adsorption pressure, driving weak motion of the coalbed methane output and having low gas saturation, is not conducive to keep coal bed methane wells high and stable production;The porosity of coal is not so bad but it’s connectivity is poor. The highly-developed transition hole provides a favorable space for coalbed methane storage. Ahthough the small - micro fractures are highly developed but fully filled with coal fines, the permeability of coal seam is low;The adsorption time is longer than usual coal seam, which is unfavorable to the high yield of coalbed gas wells and the short development cycle of coal bed methane.
