Abstract: Abstract:In order to prevent rock bumps , the South mining bureau has introduced PASAT-M media CT microquake detection system from Poland for the original detection of stress distribution of coal and rock at the 18th layer of basin floor and the evaluation for bump hazard towards the ground. The research indicates that stress has a good responding relationship with seismic wave which can reflect the distribution of coal and rock stress. This system can make inversion and CT imaging through the seismic tomography technology which can judge the tunnel hazard rapidly and accurately by two-dimensional image for bump hazard distribution. The result of detection and analysis can provide South mining bureau an important guidance for relieving targeted danger which will be useful for preventing rock bumps with precise and high efficiency. The practice on spot indicates that this technology has certain extending significance in the prevention of rock bumps.
