Abstract: In order to discrimina water inrush source of coal mine, 61 groups of non-polluted water samples had been gained by inverted cone water intake device from 3 aquifers in 4 coal area. And the water samples had been mensurated about routine water quality and 44 trace elements. The measurement results had been analyzed by relevance and key indicators were proposed, as well as 3 discrimination models. The results show that inverted cone water intake device can get non polluted water samples efficiently. 6 routine water quality and 14 trace elements are key indicators of water inrush source discrimination in study area coal mine. And water source discrimination Bayes model about characteristic trace elements corrected by conventional ion is more accurate than the others. Its accuracy of verification is 92.9%. The study provides a new direction about water source accurate discrimination of coal mine.
