The Resource Discovery and Using of High TDS Mining Water in the Arid Regions of Western Chongqing

Abstract: For alleviating the shortage of water and abating the pollution of mining water in Western ChongQing, we use Reserve Osmosis to purify the abandoned high TDS mining water and benefit it again.The mining water of this area pervasively have a high TDS,especially chloridion,fluorinion,sodion,barium ions and nickel ions have reached a hazardous level.Design the Reserve Osmosis process according to the YC mining water’s quality and amount,the water yield of this system is 50m3/h,and the cost is about 2.24yuan/T. Finally the quality of purified water will achieve “Standards for Drinking Water Quality”.
