Abstract: The development status of pure electric explosion-proof vehicles for mining is described from three aspects: application status, industry standard status and technology status. The development of key technology of pure electric explosion-proof vehicle is introduced in detail, an overview of pure electric explosion-proof vehicle for mine, explosion-proof power drive motor, explosion-proof power battery and control system is revealed. Along with the support of relevant national policy, the introduction of various industry standards, and breakthrough of key technology of mining electric explosion-proof vehicle, pure electric vehicles can effectively improve the underground working environment and realize the energy conservation and emissions reduction, will be the future development direction of underground trackless auxiliary transportation technology and equipment, and has a good market prospect in the later period.
