Abstract: Taking the Heidaigou open-pit coal mine as an example, this paper analyzes the energy consumption of related equipment in various production stages of open-pit mine based on field research and on-site testing. The research shows that the energy consumption in the transportation process of Heidaigou open-pit mine is the highest, accounting for 78.5% of the total energy consumption, most of which comes from diesel oil. Optimizing truck transportation routes and reducing truck waiting time are the most important ways to save energy in open-pit mines. The higher the annual transportation volume of trucks, the lower the annual average diesel fuel consumption; The energy consumption monitoring of large electric shovel is necessary. Electric-driven mining and stripping equipment can replace oil with electricity and reduce energy consumption.
