Optimization of bolt support in gob side entry retaining

Abstract:

The control of surrounding rock stability of gob-side entry retaining is a difficult problem that restricts the safe production of coal mine. In view of the present situation of deformation and failure of surrounding rock in gob-side entry retaining at 1226 working face in Shuguang Coal Mine, this paper analyzes that the main problems existing in the original bolt support of gob-side entry retaining, which the roof bolt and anchor cable are arranged in the same row, the pre-stress of bolt and anchor cable is small, and the bearing capacity of the anchor cable flat supporting plate is low and it does not have the function of yield pressure and diffusion prestress. The in-situ stress in the retained roadway area is of medium-level tectonic stress, the influence of the direction of horizontal principal stress on the top and slope angle is considered in the roadway support, the shallow part of coal seam is broken and its strength is low, so it is very important to control the stability of coal side. The paper puts forward and optimizes the bolt supporting technology in the gob-side entry retained in 1228 transport roadway, namely changing the arrangement of roof bolts and cables in the gob-side entry retained to interval arrangement, increasing the support strength of bolts and cables, improving the reasonable matching of bolts and cables and supporting plate, emphasising the vertical installation of anchor bolts, and increasing of the pre-stress level of bolts and cables. Finally, in view of the strong floor heave control in the later stage of roadway retaining, the hydraulic top-cutting method to pressure-relief is suggested.
