Abstract: Abstract：A new micro-emulsion floatation collector with a compound of diesel oil，surfactant，alcohol and water in a certain ratio was applied to the research on the floatation test with Shanxi Xiqu lean coal sample. The result showed that the micro-emulsion was excellent in performance，good in reliability and high in selection. Compared with diesel oil, when the micro-emulsion was used as collector, based on the clean coal ash keeping no changing，the clean coal production rate could be increased by 4~9%. As a result, the new agent improved floatation effectiveness, increased floatation performance and saved dosage of diesel oil.
