Abstract: Abstract：Based on a residential community design for a suburb coalmine residence community reconstruction, and on the discussions of room layout structure, styles design, new building materials, the paper sums up the design characters, space dimension requirements to functional rooms of building of its like, gives a design strategy to access to an economic and practical residential building meeting the demands of living and comfort.
