Abstract: Abstract: This article put forward the optimized triangle area for gas drainage/releasing hole design from the point of rock movement and deformation characteristics; and according to surface drainage hole of a mine in Huainan extraction data, analyzed the relationship between actual holes positions and the drainage effect, summarized actual optimized drainage hole position and compared with the best triangle put forward to analyze and check if the former design is correct. The design method can get the gas drainage area controlled by each releasing hole and its reasonable design density, so this method can support future drainage holes design and save drilling costs and increase gas extraction efficiency.
