Determination of caving method and analysis of caving ratio in fully mechanized top coal caving mining

Based on the specific conditions of the B905 working face, with comparison of the tested caving time and caving ratio of the three caving methods used mostly at present, adopted the two-turn order caving method. Meanwhile, according to the back conveyer transport capacity, got the maximum number of caving at the same time, thus, established the caving method of 3 sections coal caving and analyzed the caving ratio. The result shows that this caving method has got high production efficiency and the working face caving ratio has achieved 84.22%, which is 7.22% higher than single-turn order coal caving, the maximum output of the working face is 11.8 million tons.

The construction equipment selection and layout of drilling the over 1km. deep shaft is a complex task. When designed it that many factors should be considered, and its calculation is also enormous. Therefore, it has great theoretical and practical value that a design system considered for drilling project equipment selection and layout. This paper, based on ideas of expert decision support system (EDSS), especially aiming at more than over 1km deep shaft’s drilling equipment selection and layout, has analyzed theoretical research and practical application of its design system. The system is consisted of three parts, i.e., the dialogue subsystem, the data subsystem and the model subsystem, through the design of multi-menu approach controlling parts of the realization of human-computer dialogue, while in plug-in style, and as far as possible dynamic design to improve system flexibility. The system is a new service carrier for deep shaft construction design which has some special functions, for example, it can achieve the selection, layout and its optimization of drilling equipment, and can also automatically generate the computing books, as well as its level and profile of equipment layout.

Abstract: This paper introduces the working principle and control system of liquid-solid fluidized bed of coarse slime separator. To address the problem of production system in Zhongmacun Coal Prep, liquid-solid fluidized bed of coarse slime separator is used in the separation of the coarse slime. The results show that: the coal prep’s clean coal yield is increased and brought great economic benefits in liquid-solid fluidized bed of coarse slime separator is used.

The experiment shows that, compared with uniaxial compressing, the residual stress in triaxiality compressing is greater, this can result that the level support can increase the stress of the surrounding rock and decrease or stop the level displacement, at same time, control the pie form displacement of the coal. The measuring data indicates that the main reason for tunnel damage is level displacement. Based on the situation of Guhanshan Colliery, semi-closing support with I bar is designed and applied, which control the continuel displacement of tunnel effectively.

The section size of the south belt head chamber is super large in Yuwu coal mine, and the condition of its surrounding rock is poor. In order to solve the roadway maintenance under this condition, deformation damage factors of Large Cross Section Chamber are analyzed, deformation characteristics is studied by numerical simulation, and the deformation regularity of surrounding rock is mastered. Based on the high pre-stressed power support theory, the control measures is put forward, the control scheme is applied in the underground engineering test. The research results show that the roadway deformation is controlled effectively by the Control schemes and Chamber is used normally.

The match of "three machine",shearer,scraper conveyor and hydraulic support in the fully mechanized working face,and the stability of this system is the core of whole set mechanized mining equipments.The coal seam in the first face with the mining height of 6.2m in YangChangWan coal mine has the characters of large angle,large undulating strike,broken roof,easy to cave,complex storage environment.Based on the this project,the problem on the adaptability and stability of domestic equipments are studyed,specific control measures are put forward too.The mining practical onsite proves that the existing equipments and technical measures have effectly controled the "three-machine" and stability of system,which ensures the safety and smooth recovery in the face.This technology provides some reference for the stability control of other large mining height equipment in the Ning Dong Mine area.

Abstract: In order to solve the problem exceeding concentration of gas in the upper corner and reaction return in fully-mechanized in Shaqu coal mine, combined with the long distance and large aperture directional drilling from Germany , Tests were conducted on comprehensive gas management method of Thousand Meters long directional in rock roof for gas drainage from adjacent seam and long drilling gas management from current seam in 14205 face, Which provided new technical way for gas management. The results showed that the effect of comprehensive gas management technology of large aperture and long directional hole is obvious. The concentration of gas suction in level roof-rock drilling is more than 60%. The average content of gas management is up to 13.3m3/min, the concentration of gas suction of a long drilling in current seam is up to 15%. The gas pre-drainage rate is up to 35% in the drilling control area, and the problem of exceeding gas concentration in the upper corner and reaction return was solved effectively so as to achieve the safe and high efficient coal mining in high gassy coal mining face.

Based on AE(Acoustic Emission) simulation of physical similarity, the characteristics of overlying strata localized damage, deformation and evolution in Gob were analyzed.with the increasing of mining disturbance and mining depth, the AE signals received from the sensors in different positions of roof and floor was carefully researched.the results of experiment indicates that layout of AE sensors has little influence on receiving signal;rapid expansion in local shear zone and mutation of micro crack is the leading cause of AE abrupt change;it further reveals the laws which is nonlinear in movement and deformation of "Masonry" structure in surrounding rocks of deeply inclined coal seam.

Water inrush of the fault is a typical dynamical disaster in the coal mine, which is the instability failure process of the rock and coal under the action of mining and pressure water. In this paper, the mechanical model of the critical path was established on water inrush of the fault in allusion to the characteristics of the fault shortening the distance between coal seam and aquifer. The limit equilibrium theory and cusp catastrophe theory were used in the analysis on water inrush of the fault. The key component failure damage model was established in water inrush of the fault under the influence of mining and pressure water, and the mechanical criterion of the water inrush was obtained. Meantime the prepared critical width of anti-pillar was given. Moreover, the rule of water inrush under the impact of the fault parameters and coal-parameter was analyzed.

Abstract: The mined out area with fully mechanized caving method is large, and the rotation and subsidence of the overlying strata is great, which leads to the obvious increase of water conducted zone height. Using the method of discrete element numerical simulation, the movement character of overlying strata in fully mechanized caving face is analyzed, and the height of water conducted zone is determined according to the variation law of the overlying strata displacement and stress. Based on the field survey, it could be seen that the height of water conducted zone achieved by numerical simulation coincides with the field result. The result shows that it is feasible to determine the height of water conducted zone in fully mechanized caving face using the method of numerical simulation.

Abstract: Because representation of rock cuttability can’t guide design and type selection of roadheader nowadays, and definition of rock cuttability classification isn’t specific, which result in high specific energy、amounts of dust. Based on specific energy, the definition of rock cuttability is given in the paper, and its three-meaning are also related. The criterion of rock cuttability classification is set in the paper; The result indicates that using the compressive strength to calculate cuttability has obvious advantages, and the corresponding values between rock cuttability and robustness coefficient are given in the paper; Based on the definition and class values of rock cuttability, calculation formula of he rock cuttability which longitudinal roadheader can cut economically is derived, a theoretical basis is established for selection of roadheader.

As more and more coal mines of Permian-Carboniferous coalfields in North China commence to mine the deeper Taiyuan coal seams, the higher water-pressure of underlying Ordovician karst aquifers poses more serious threat to mining. To ensure safely excavate deeper Taiyuan coal seams, identifying and using the upmost aquitards of the Ordovician as Key Aquifuges is becoming the current forefront. In situ hydrogeologic and geophysical techniques and indoor lithologic methods were adopted in T Mine, Gujiao Mining Area, Shanxi, China, to observe and determine the key aquifuges of the Ordovician. Results showed that, in Gujiao Mining Area, the upmost Fengfeng filled by palaeo-weathered deposits adds up to 30 meters thick and can serve as key aquifuges against mine water inrush from the Fengfeng karst aquifer, and that the lower Fenfeng composed of marlite and thin gypsums interbeds to 70 meters thick and against mine water inrush from its Shang-Majiagou karst aquifer.

The “Three Zones” spontaneous combustion in mined-out area of fully mechanized top coal caving workface 6103 of Buliangou mine was studied for effectively prevented spontaneous combustion. Got distribution of oxygen concentration by using the FLUENT software after established the model of the seepage field in the mined-out area. On this basis, explained the asymmetric distribution of heat dissipation zone and spontaneous combustion zone and the reason of spontaneous combustion zone move into the deep mined-out area. Combined field measurement, divided the “Three Zones” spontaneous combustion using the optimization theory of MIN-MAX and obtained the minimum safety velocity which can restrain the possibility of spontaneous combustion in mined-out area. It offers a theoretical basis for the working of fire prevention and extinguishing in this mine.

In this paper, in order to get the mechanical properties of the different ratio similar material models and resolve the matching problem of pressure sensor and measured similar material, according to the similarity theories, the repeated loading tests on different ratio similar models were performed by multi-stage loading. This paper got the stress-pressure curve and the failure strength of each model. Test results show that there were significant differences in the matching abilities between different ratio similar materials and pressure sensors, and the matching abilities between different models of the same ratio and pressure sensors also had some differences. The matching ability between similar material and pressure sensor should be detected, so as to correct the experimental data. Test results also show that different ratio similar materials have stable and different mechanical properties. The mechanical properties of the similar material can be adjusted appropriately by changing the ratio. The mechanical properties of different ratio similar materials should be tested before the similar material simulation test.

Comprehensive test device of coal spontaneous combustion developed by self and gas chromatography instrument are used to research the process characteristics of gas adsorption and resolution in the low temperature stage of coal oxidation according to oxygen consumption and gas generated. It is found that slow oxygen consumed rate and gentle curve of oxygen consumed are the common characteristics of coal in low temperature coal oxidation stage, this behavior is restricted by the internal action process mechanism of main physical and chemical adsorption in this stage, and the kinds of gas generated and its generating initial temperature and rate depend on the structure and reaction characteristics of coal oxidation in this stage.

Landslide formation causes of Shengli open coal pit and main effective factors were analyzed through state geologic investigation. The main factors inducing landslide concludes water action, rock properties, excavation breakage, earth surface shock, and so on. The sensitivity of side slope stability effective parameters, which consists of side slop drainage rate Dr, rock bulk density RR, CB andφB value of bottom slide surface, CB and φB value of side slide surface and earth surface shock effective coefficient, was studied by MSARMA method. The results show that Dr and earth surface shock are the key induction elements affecting the side slope stability. While the environment factors that impact side slope stability include shear strength of side slope gliding mass and rock bulk density. According to the above research, the landslide control policy of Shengli open coal pit is determined which are dredge lowing water, reinforcement anchor wire, chamfered slide unloading and remote monitoring.

By application of cointegration theory, the tendency of carbon dioxide emissions and international trade is analyzed and their cointegration and unidirectional causality relationship is tested according to the data from 1980 to 2008. The result shows that there exists a long equilibrium and causality relationship between carbon dioxide emissions and international trade and international trade is one of the important reasons for the increase of carbon dioxide emissions in China. When international trade increases 1%, carbon dioxide emissions will increase 0.3196%. The paper put forward the suggestions to reduce the dependence on export of economic growth and try to expand domestic demand. The export structure should be optimized by limiting the high energy consumption products and encouraging the low energy consumption products.

The grouting is a favorite technology of fire preventing and extinguishing for coalmine at present. According to the fire circs and actuality in Moxinbo coalmine, we develop the material of grouting and fire preventing and extinguishing with fly-ash, and test the performance of the suspending and gelling for fly-ash slurry by experiment. The experiment results indicates that the best additive amount of the JXF1930 suspending agent and FCJ12 gelling agent, which is suspending agent as 0.1% (weight ratio) and gelling agent as 0.06% (weight ratio) at the ratio of water and fly-ash from 1:1 to 1:2. The application obtains good results by the material on site, and the cost of fire preventing and extinguishing is cheap.
