Over two-thirds of the coal in China is in northwestern and northern China where water resources are scarce. To realize the high-efficient and clean utilization of those coals, the study progress and application of gas-solid fluidization technique in coal separation were discussed. Modularized dry coal beneficiation technique using an industrial gas-solid fluidized bed provides a new method to high-efficient separation of coal. The magnetically or vibrated fluidized bed separation technique can improve the performance of fluidization and separation of typical fluidized bed. Fine coal can be effectively separated. The two techniques have wide application prospect.

In order to understand the strata-pressure behavior and the feature of strata movement of 4101 first coalface, and to analysis the activity law and ground pressure mechanism, the face strata behaviors were practical measured, collecting the support working resistance in each monitoring station continuously, and by means of Uroica, a strata-pressure data integrated processing system, related laws were analyzed and summarized. The first weighting interval of 4101 was more than 50 m, and the periodic weighting lengths were among 12~19 m, on an average of 14 m. The central supports resistance was generally greater than the ends during weighting, which indicated the central Pressure Appearance was more obvious. The setting load met the requirement of support controlling basically, and the ending resistance was generally surplus, so the selection of support types was quite reasonable, which could meet the mining requirements under this kind of geological condition.

Abstract:This paper applied the universal the principles of modern decision making, general system and control to reengineering of the traditional method of project comparison, to aim at overcoming the fatal defect, i.e. its operation was similar to picking the best out of a mediocre bunch and lack of the project risk review. The new model had a subsystem more built up based on the original, developed more projects that had been formed through combining the forecasted data for each important and sensitive variable by the computer simulation, and than applied Monte-Carlo method to analyze the relative risks of the new ones. The conclusion supported the decision making effectively. A case was demonstrated to show the application of the new model at the end.

In this paper, the genetic algorithm (GA) and particle swarm optimization (PSO) are used in optimizing the project scheduling of the roadway and installation project in Pingmei Coal. The process of optimization contains two parts in this paper: the first part is obtaining the time parameters of each operation and the network graph of the roadway and installation project by PERT method which are based on the raw data; another part based on the network graph is the second optimization of which the objective is the maximal NPV (Net Present Value) and the starting dates of all operations are decision-making variables and operations’ order and time and cost restriction out of system are the constraints by GA and PSO. Then the optimizing result of PSO is compared with the result of GA. The optimizing results show that PSO is better than GA and the NPV based on optimized operations is more than original plan 1497.4 ten thousand RMB.

In order to find out the strata behavior law of the super length fully mechanized top coal caving which is 280 meters long in Lutian Coal Mine, the monitoring and measurement of the support working resistance was taken. The result shows that the first weighting interval and circular weighting interval of super length fully mechanized top coal caving are obviously shorter than the normal fully mechanized top coal caving face ; the circular weighting of the whole working face are not simultaneous; the working resistance of support is fit for the requirements of supporting the roof. Meanwhile, the result provides a scientific basis for the safety production of working face and the layout of the next face.

The gray theory is introduced to sliding mode variable structure control in this paper. The controller used gray estimate and gray compensation and can solve the vibration problem. At last, there are simulations of the controller. Simulation results show that the gray estimate improves the accuracy of the system, and gray compensation can effectively overcome the uncertainties of the interference. The whole design achieves the desired results.

This paper presents a new network – No-wireless Sensor Network (N-WSN) based on the power line cable. Considering the requirements of coal mine production safety, this paper presents a basic structures to N-WSN system used LonWorks technology, and define the function about smart sub-station. Compared with conventional wired monitoring network, N-WSN system uses LonTalk protocol, can be achieved by different manufacturers of equipment interconnection. It does no power failure, no additional wiring, and are particularly suited to the dangerous and harsh environment applications under the monitoring and control.

Seam-gliding structure is one kind of shearing along the coal seam or the weak layer in the roof and bottom of the coal seam. It makes different areas that the coal seam become thin or lack. It always disturbs the plan of the production, serious impact on the effects of coal mining. The areas near the seam-gliding are broken in the roof and bottom of the coal, the stress is concentrated and the emission of gas is abnormal, all these are dangerous to the mining. The Seam-gliding structures of Panji-yi Mining are very common. In order to ensure the safety to mining, provide some advices that can improve the economic benefits and the long-term plan of the mining, through study the characteristics and effects of the seam-gliding structure to the production of coal mine in the No.11-2 coal seam of Panji-yi Mining.

It is well known that many factors affect the slope stability of open-underground combined mining, so the stability is relatively bad. The study background of this paper is a domestic open pit coal mine. By using method of combining the Geo-slope limit equilibrium method with FLAC numeric simulation, the slope stability of single open-pit and open-underground combined mining comparatively study. And then open-underground combined mining is divided into two groups: open pit mining turned to underground mining and simultaneous mining. The paper makes a concrete analysis of them. The results show that the slope stability is reduced by the goaf. Position of the boundary line of the goaf is very important for effect of the whole slope stability and coal recovery ratio.

According to fracture mechanics theory , establishing the models for the extension of fracture tip, critical stress and its influencing factors are obtained, including vertical stress、horizontal stress、initial fracturing angle、initial fracturing diameter、rock fracture toughness and fracture angle, et al. The results show that the initial fracturing begins to crack when initial fracturing tip stress reaches critical stress. It is verified that initial fracturing and water injection pressure are the key factors by hard roof directional hydraulic fracturing experiments in two collieries.

Abstract: A depth indicator based on the serial bus RS-485 was designed in this paper, and the interface circuit was given as well. AT89C52 microcontroller was adopted in the core control part of the depth indicator. The microcontroller was connected to the host computer via RS-485 bus, receiving related data continuously, driving Nixies and LEDs through I2C bus and displaying the speed and location information of the object real-timely.

Abstract: Through the analysis on the supporting difficulty in the gateway influenced by dynamic pressure on Guo’erzhuang Mine and base on the principle of improving the bearing capacity of the whole surrounding rock and enhancing the control of key parts, the combined supporting scheme with bolt/beam/steel mesh /anchor plus the full length grouted anchor were provided and the support test was conducted in the mining gateway. The test results showed that using the combined supporting scheme and through the multiple effects of dynamic pressure in the intake airflow roadway of 1276 face, the roadway section could meet the service requirement.

This paper completed the speed control of mine fanner by frequency variation with PLC system, clarified the composition of PLC modules, worked out the formula of wind flux with the pressure parameter, improved the reliability by both FC301 frequency converter and the low voltage solid state starter, also had obvious effect on energy-saving. The remote dada monitoring system based on wireless communication could display the spot information on monitoring window directly and visually, which improved the management level and efficiency.

Abstract: In order to excavate East Fushun surface mine efficiently, optimum selection of reasonable mining technology was did according to geological condition of East Fushun open-pit mine. Feasible schemes were listed in accordance with the production actuality. Obviously unreasonable schemes were eliminated by qualitative analyzing. Key affecting factors were listed aiming at the feasible remaining schemes; the most optical mining technology was given by qualitative and quantitative analyzing. The outcome indicated that the shovel—truck discontinuous mining system should be adopted in coal mining and stripping project, cross mining mode and in-dump mining procedure is taken with the working line being laid out along the dipping direction of the coal seam, which is advanced from west to east. The box-cutting position is near the west boundary along the dipping direction of the coal seam floor which will be advanced in the temporary ramp mode.

An industrial-scale pipe loop test of transporting coal sludge with a solid concentration of 75% was conducted, which was expected to describe the flow behavior of pasty coal sludge under the case the flow principle of coal sludge is not clear. Some experimental findings were attained: coal sludge is moving as a rigid plug flow, which pressure loss is amount of 1-2 order greater than that of traditional slurries; The pressure gradient along pipeline is approximately linear; The pressure loss per transporting distance is proportional to the average flow velocity.

In rock roadway excavation, the gangue loading and transportation is the procedure occupying the longest time of cycle time with big workload in the main working procedures ,which becomes key aspect of rapid excavation. The original gangue transportation system of 92 mining area is studied and it’s shortcoming is pointed out t in Qi Dong Coal Mine. It is reconstructed by constructing 2 gangue shafts ,using the belt and the shuttle truck transportation.. The project practice indicates that the reconstructed gangue transportation system simplifies the gangue loading and the transportation link, enhances the excavation speed and the efficiency. The cost is saved and project time is reduced 2 months.
