The gas-steam combined cycle power plant of Shanxi Daning uses the underground coal mine methane (CMM) as the fuel, employs gas-combustion engine and waste-heat boiler with steam turbine as the major equipment to produce the power with total output of 35 MW capacity. It is the first gas-steam combined cycle power plant in the world equipped with the biggest single engine and perfect power generation facility. It presents the features of advanced equipment, high degree of automation and good operation performance. The paper introduces the process and operation of the power plant and summarizes the experience on designing as reference for the craft brothers to reach a better level of CMM power generation designing.

In this paper, the existed endless rope winch calculation method can not imply satisfactory results in the ups and downs and turning many of the roadways, the segment selection calculation method is proposed. Using this method which given full consideration to the environmental impact of slope changes and roadway turning terrain, the accuracy of running resistance selection calculation is improved, the selection of equipment is more scientific, and the running reliability of complex roadway endless rope winch is improved.

The study shows the coal bed methane is rich, suitable for large-scale pumping, and uses them. At the same time that, Xinji No.1 Coal Mine and Xinji No.2 Coal Mine shares a gas tank, concentrates outward supply more economic and reasonable, and conforms to the present actual situation.

Aiming at the roof control and removing passage stability and safety and other questions in the process of removing of large scale equipment in fully mechanized face, according to the geological and mining conditions in No.131108 fully mechanized face of No.2 Xinji Mine, three schemes are put forward, and after comprehensive economic and technological comparison, the best scheme we choose is as follows: brush expansion of cut-hole and auxiliary partial arrangement of safety chamber are used for the removing passage; other safe and effective measures are made to ensure the removing of conveyor and hydraulic support safety;after removing of the support,the wood crib and Point Pillar are used to support the roof on time,and protect the space for removing,prevent roof above the support caving. The industry research indicated that the implementation of scheme ensures removing of large scale equipment in No.131108 fully mechanized face safely,effectively and quickly,and has been achieved satisfactory technical and economical benefits.

In order to prevent gas concentration exceeding limits at the upper corner of 2103 working face of ChangCun coal mine, based on the “O” circle theory and the fracture development laws of the depressing zones overlying a goaf, the high level gas suction roadway was excavated in the roof to extract gob gas. Theoretical calculation and numerical simulation method have been applied to analyze and predict the fracture development laws of the depressing zones overlying a goaf, and the main fracture zones has been determined as 22.9~36.6m. By testing the changed relationship between gas extraction pure quantity of single hole and working face advance on the site, the main fracture zones was 22.9~36.6m. The results of theoretical calculation and numerical simulation was proved. Aimed at preventing the roadway damaged, the safety height was chose as 1.5 times mining height and the layer of high level gas suction roadway was designed as 31.5~36.6m.

In order to ensure Wongawilli mining technology imported by Shendong minning area to achieve safe and efficient production effects, and improve the coal recovery rate, mining pressure law monitoring was taken in different mining technology faces in same area in the Daliuta coal mine. Mine pressure monitoring data comparative analysis shows that, Lane roadway pillars leaving in 10m is to be able to ensure the safety of the isolation; Coal Pillar between sumpings is designed 0.5m to play a role of supporting continuous mining machine to cut coal and load coal and can not play the role of supporting the overlying strata; the 2.0m thickness coal pillar between branch lanes plays a supporting roof . The test mining area breakthroughs company provision and the recovery rate is increased of 12.3%, reform of Wongawilli mining process is successful.

Abstract: Based on the factors which influence the surrounding rock stability of the deep high-stress weak rocks cavern, we proposed the reinforcement concept of the deep high-stress weak rock.The high prestress constant resistance to high surrounding rock pressure yieldable support technology and step-by-step coupling grouting technology have been composition applied. The measured results show that the displacement shrinkage of the the cavern group’s surrounding rocks’ sidewalls, roof and floor each reduce to 82.5%、25%and 88.9%, after the application of the design proposal.

Using the comprehensive mechanized driving technology is considered the main route of rapid coal roadway driving. In order to improve the driving speed and mechanization level of large cross section seam roadway under complicated geological conditions, the various factors were discussed mainly in Linnancang Coal Mine. With the numerical simulation (FLAC3D), the paper analyzes the roadway surrounding rock stress field and displacement distribution characteristics in the wake of different driving footage. Influence of different supporting parameters on the driving speed was analyzed. Connected with the practical construction, the paper objectively advances the technical measures to realize rapid excavation: advance cutting rapidly, support parameters reasonably, auxiliary transportation continuously and the optimal allocation between them. By taking the above technical measures, the rapid excavation of No.2220 heading face in Linnancang coal mine is realized.

The research divided “three zones” height and provided the basis feasibility and rationality of 15 # coal gas drainage system establishment. Based on Gushuyuan mine 15 # coal seam gas migration rule fracture zones, the “high roof drilling drainage, goaf buried tube extraction” as the core of the three-dimensional comprehensive drainage technology was formed.

The prediction of amount from the gas emission is an important factor in Preliminary design for coal mining, which will play an active role in gas control, ventilation, drainage of gas for coal mining. By way of prediction of unique source for the prediction of amount from the gas emission in coal mining for short distance seam, the result of the prediction of amount from the gas emission for short distance seam differ largely when the seam gas geological is covered under similar conditions .The study shows that adjacent seam gas drainage rate is a major influential factor for the large difference of the result of the prediction of amount from the gas emission for short distance seam.

In order to quantitatively and comprehensively evaluation on the safety of rock drivage, the index system for rock drivage safety evaluation is set up. Based on Analytic Hierarchy Process, weighting and ranking standard of indexes are determined, sample matrix of evaluation is obtained, a comprehensive safety evaluation model for rock drivage is established. According to the model, the safety of rock drivage in Hui Po Di mine is evaluated. The evaluation results conform with actual conditions. Results of comprehensive safety evaluation can provide scientific basis for mine to draw up safety precautions and prevention measures during rock drivage.

According to the fault water inrush of Zhangcun mine, the distribution of faults in the mine is analyzed. Based on the distance discriminant analysis method, the water inrush grades of the main effect faults in Zhangcun mine are discriminated. The results show that the taiyuan formation limestone aquifer causes fault water inrush more easily than the Cambrian limestone aquifer does because the thickness of aquifuge between the coal seam and the taiyuan formation limestone aquifer is less than the mining failure thickness of floor. In addition, the larger the fault displacement is, the bigger the water inrush quantity will be in high water pressure. Because the large displacement fault will cut to the Cambrian limestone aquifer, and its water abundance is more stronger than others. The analysis results also consistent to the real condition and the transient electromagnetic exploration results in Zhangcun mine. According to the research results, the prevention measures of fault water inrush are proposed, which have some guiding significance to ensure the safe production of the mine.

Gas outburst of coal mine is the most important element in safe exploitation, which threats the security of lots of collieries and the property of country and people. The geological factors which influence the gas outburst most is geological structure, coal seam and wall rock characteristics, hydrological geology and so on. This paper analyzes systemically and profoundly the specific influence of the geological factors which include geological structure. and it turns out that the most important factor is geological structure, especially the fault structure, which exists broadly in collieries, and is the most important factor in gas outburst. Then are the coal seam and wall rock characteristics, and the thickness and buried depth has great influence in it. Hydrological geology is the weakest factor, it can’t make it happen by itself. Based on these analyses, these will provide help for the precaution of gas outburst in future.

Abstract: Based on explicit dynamics software to simulate the thin seam coal shearer drum breaking coal process, got the coal-rock plastic zone dynamic changes and the load spectrum of picks on the drum, which could avoid the human errors in the parameter values and provide a theoretical basis for the spiral drum design, use and maintenance. The results show that: the behavior of drum breaking coal is not continuous, but the accumulation of damage energy, the large number of coal-rock instant broken periodic alternating process; The load of picks in the same line on the drum was not significantly related, the drum should adopt the small distance arrangement of one line by one pick.

54 massive colliery blasting accidents from 1980 to 2011 were analyzed statistically with regard to the unsafe act of blasters, finding 7 categories (22species) unsafe blasting act. It is found that two reasons resulting in the unsafe act through the further analyse : one is ordered as unsafe habit, lack of safety knowledge and safety awareness of blasters ; The other is get on bad with the blasting monitoring.
