This paper analyzed the coal mine accident cause factor, and then used the ASP.NET and SQL Server database technology, taking the development trend of Computer Technology and MIS (Management Information System) into account, to design the Coal Mine Safety Management and Assessment System, which was based on B/S structure. The reliability and stability of the system was approved by the applied cases. This system can realize the management, analysis, statistics, evaluation and other functions in the aspects of coal mine safety information, One Ventilation and Three Prevention, accidents prevention and safety training. This system can give full play to the role of information in coal mine safety management, can provide technical support for the coal mining enterprises to carry out management decisions

Fast image processing is the key technology of on-line vision inspection system for conveyor belts. A fast image segmentation algorithm is proposed to segment conveyor belt images. This algorithm which is only using the grayscale information of images has the characteristics of simple and real-time. The results of comparing with several classical thresholding methods show that the effectiveness of the algorithm.

Coal mine is a complicated system, including man、 machine、 environment and management, the cause of the coal mine accident is not only a single factor, but also the coupling between multiple factors. However some conventional method is difficult to solve the problem which is the risk evaluation of the interactions between Multiple factor. In order to solve this problem s, Firstly in the perspective of multi-factor coupling to construct the coal mine accidents cause model, then use the interaction matrix method to the coal mining enterprises to carry out risk assessment, this method not only can be quantitatively calculated each influence factors on the risk of coal mining enterprises, but also quantitative evaluation of coal mine risk. Practice proved that the method has feasibility to the risk evaluation of coal mining enterprises.

In recent years, rock-burst accidents happen frequently in the new mines, influence the safety production seriously. In the past two years, the mine has clearly entered deep mining, rock-burst hazards increased significantly and more and more serious. The paper monitors rock burst of 61051、41062 working face by electromagnetism radio technology, analyses the regular of electromagnetism radio, confirm forecasting critical value of electromagnetism radio by indistinct recognition method, knows rock burst premonition and electromagnetism radio of hazardous region, and forecasts rock burst time after time in hazardous region.

In some coal preparation plant main workshop, 1.2 million tons equipment reformation was completed,The excessive vibration behavior of beam-plates system caused by equipment reformation were tested. The disturbing frequency of vibrating equipment and response of floor vibration were obtained. According to the spot test results,the main cause of excessive vibration of floor is forced resonance, in addition, relatively small vertical stiffness of floor is a reason. The shortcoming of existing strengthening measures was analysis, and then the new vibration reduction treatment scheme was proposed.

As the background of geological conditions of 20306 coal face in Gao Jialiang Colliery, multi-bases displacement monitoring device, anchor dynamometer and borehole stressmeter were used to detect deformation and stress of contact Lane and coal pillar, and UDEC was used to simulate distribution of deformation and stress in surrounding rocks of service gate with different coal pillar size. The results show that the peak of advanced abutment pressure is 20~30m ahead, the peak of side abutment pressure is about 22m away from coal wall, and the width of coal pillar should be 12m.

According to the support status and sliding structure with special geological conditions of -426m level west ventilation roadway of Shenhuo Group DaMoling coal mine, the paper analyses and summarizes the asymmetric deformation mechanism and influence factors through using roadway deformation observation and borehole camera shooting method. The results show that the development of surrounding rock loose circle of roadway is increased along with the exposure time whose increases; the development of surrounding rock loose circle within the section of roadway affected is asymmetrical distribution with the influence of stratification sliding, which is showed that loose circle is larger to vertical stratification, loose circle is lesser to parallel stratification direction. The interlaminar shear-slip deformation is key factors which affecting the stability of roadway; The overall destructive characteristics of roadway show that “Asymmetrical bottom drum- Overall sink under side of roadway-the discrepancy deformation of shoulder- Overall asymmetric deformation of roadway”. On the base of the research result, the paper put forward the “long bolt and cable combined asymmetric supporting technology” ,which using 3m long bolt control the strength of surrounding rock, adjust distance between bolt, cable and high strength foot bolts to reinforce support on interlayer slip deformation and other key parts. Engineering applications demonstrate that the asymmetric coupling support is effective in controlling asymmetric deformation of sliding cracking surrounding rock, and improve overall support performance of roadway.

Selection of sensors on the pillar stress changes were observed to be mining process. Analysis shows that, in the working face advancing process, closing to the working face side abutment pressure influence range of 46m coal pillar by, and a convex form; the range of 52-64m was not affected by mining, and closing to the working face 46m in a smaller two peak abutment pressure range of coal pillars, which were located in the work side of 18m and 38m. By the coal pillar edge to the deep, the plastic zone of pillar is 0-10m, the elastic region is 10-50m, the original rock stress area is 50-60m.

Aiming at the roof collapse problem of the coal roadway with compound mudstone strata in the period of the roadway excavation or working face mining, firstly, the roadway is classified in combination with thickness value of the compound mudstone and concrete location in the roof strata. On the basis of the above classification results, a mechanical model is built, which is used to obtain the source of the large roof deformation or the roof caving to this type of roadway, and then a combining controlling technology including bolt, cable and cable truss support with high pre-tightening force is proposed. Finally, this type of support technology is applied to the field roadway and the trial results show that the roof deformation is controlled effectively and ensure the supported roof stability.

Abstract This paper comes up with a method to improve the Grey Prediction Model based on the structure method of background value in Grey System GM(1,1) Model, figuring out the improved GM(1,1) model based on the Gauss-Legendre Formula. And also this paper compares the algebraic accuracy of the improved GM(1,1) model to the traditional GM(1,1) model. Meanwhile, the authors do the fitting work by using the data for China’s Total Coal Production from 2003 to 2011. The authors also compare the fitting results of the improved model to the results of the traditional model and the results model improved by the continued fraction. It is approved that the improved model has a higher precision both in theory and in practice.

Based on the analysis of engineering geological conditions of Dongjiahe Coal Mine, floor failure depth of 22507 working face of NO. 5 coal seam was measured by appling drilling sonic method. There would produce large of residue during indirect coal liquefaction processing, considered whether from comprehensive utilization of resources or from environmental protection, residue should be appropriately handled. Gasification slag, thermal power slag and precipitator dust came from a typical coal and chemical industry, there were the raw materials to prepare non-burnt brick, lime and cement were the excipients, gypsum was the activator. The mass proportions of all the prepared materials were: gasification slag 35.6%, thermal power slag 32.4%, precipitator dust 14%, lime 8%, cement 6% and gypsum 4%. The preparation section of non-burnt brick was preagitation, aging, secondary mixing, molding, steam curing, demoulding and detecting. The performance test of non-burnt brick including density, water absorption, compressive strength, freeze-thaw compressive strength, freeze-thaw quality loss rate, lime rupture and efflorescence fulfilled (JC/T 422-2007)and (GB11945-1999). The movement characteristics of overlying strata at combined mining work face was studied with the method of field measurement of deep base point,taking the combined mining work face of a coal as a case to measure the related data. Through displacement and speed analysis of the measured results,it was found that the overburden movement form is generally non-uniform sink overall motion after the work face was mined, the rock fracture gap within the drop is small, and the surface does not appear evident large fall break. The absolute displacement of overburden is increase gradually from surface to the roof of coal bed,and the initial displacement of surface occurs in the front of work face,but the initial displacement of inner rock occurs at the back of work face,and the movement speed is non-uniform phase distribution. There is a clear permanent abscission layer in the overlying strata after mining,and the total layer is about 36% higher than the mining height. These results have certain significance as offering a theoretical basis for the study of movement characteristics of overlying strata at combined mining work face

A new control scheme is introduced for Steam Coal separation indexes. Based on the wash-ability test data and daily test results, the comprehensive float-and-sink table of the target size product was calculated to help get the regression model of the calorific value by Microsoft EXCEL linear regression tool. The model was simplified with optimization, and the detailed values of the separation indexes at the circumstances of concentrate-crop-to-raw, were calculated through selecting reasonable boundary condition and VC++ programing. The calculation results indicated that: at 5500Kcal/kg caloric requirement, the fines needed to be completely washed, and the separation density for lumps should be 1.70kg/L. This technique overcomes problem emerged in the traditional maximum productivity principle method which took only ash content into account and other indexes are more or less neglected. The separation index control technique determines the amount of feed and the optimum sorting density of each sorting system in a scientific method, which is of great significance to promote the coal separation industry to transform from empirical way to scientific techniques.

To analyze the gas desorption characteristics of coal in real time, based on the power function representing gas desorption rate, a new parameter n representing coal gas desorption characteristics was proposed. The monitoring system of gas emission was constructed on the basis of the existing mine safety monitoring and control system, which could real-time calculate the n value, analyze the gas desorption characteristics at the front of the working face, and had a field test in Wolonghu coal mine. The results show that the monitoring system of gas emission could calculate the daily n value of heading face, the new parameter n shows the reversing trend to traditional desorption index K1 or ?h2, the parameter n could represent the coal gas desorption characteristics. By comparing the critical value of K1 corresponding to the the danger of outburst, the critical value of n could be obtained, which could provide the foundation for predicting the outburst hazard of working face.

Mine Seam Gateway Pilot Detector with Frequency Conversion is a kind of exploration instrument based on Dual-frequency Induced Polarization Ahead-detecting Technology. The detector was consisted with a transmission module and a receive module. The simulation model of the detector’s receive module was built based on Simulink. Under the effect of the dual-frequency current signals emitted by the transmission module, the receive module could figure out the parameters which could reflect the geological structure of mine seam gateway. The correctness of the receive module’s structure was improved through the calculation results.

We use Pro/ENGINEER Mechanica software to carry on finite element analysis for the initial design. The maximum stress zone and the maximum deformation zone and the values are achieved under the superimposed load and the manned conditions. The results of finite element analysis can verify the reliability of the initial design. The material of platform is optimized based on the finite element analysis results. Using modern design method can not only ensure the supporting work safety, but save materials and reduce the energy consumption. Due to the influence of coal mining to replace, there exists the problem of the gas concentration exceeding limits in the process of work face mining, which with short extraction time. By arranging blast hole in the middle of gas extraction holes, charging with a diameter of 63mm water gel explosive grain of coal mine gas extraction to increase permeability of the mining-coal bed by advanced deep hole pre-splitting blasting. With the method used in field application ,the concentration of gas extracted is increased by 2.2 times, the flow rate increased by more than five times, coal seam permeability is increased greatly, working face advancing speed increased by 3 times, the problem of gas overrun is solved effectively.

For the roadway which required slope expansion during the service period, in order to avoid refilling bolts after the slope expansion, we developed a new type of bolt which can be used in roadside support. Rigid long threaded bolt which is made of metal rod body, rod connector, connecting bolt and high-strength long-threaded bolt tail. According to the field test, its overall tensile performance is the same to the common steel bolt of the same diameter. In Zhaogu Two Mine, Jiaozuo Coal Group, we did field tests, meanwhile the deep basic points displacement monitoring and surface displacement monitoring of the test roadway was carried out. The monitoring results show that the supporting effect of rigid long threaded bolt is superior to the supporting effect of common cable anchor. For the roadway which required slope expansion during the service period, due to the rigid long threaded bolt has high-strength long-threaded bolt tail, so after the slope expansion, continue to tighten the nut, and cut off the excess part can be. It can make full use of the existing roadside support, avoid refilling bolts, not only can save a large number of slope expansion costs, but also can shorten the time of repairing the roadway.

The basic roof of Yuwu mine S2206 high gas full-mechanized caving coal face is dense hard and large thickness, and it is not easy to collapse in intial stage of mining.If large area roof caving suddenly,could lead to the working face mine pressure appear acutely, gas rise suddenly.In order to solve this problem,the concrete measures of weakening the working face roof are introduced. Practice shows that by the method pre-mining deep hole pre-splitting blasting ,weakening roof in advance,we have solved the hazard of large area roof pressure, recovered the top-coal in advance, realized the working face safe and efficient mining.
